If the menu bar is missing, press and release the 'Alt' key to temporarily restore it. On Windows, starting in Firefox 3.6, the menu bar can be hidden. Note: At the top of the Firefox window there should be a menu bar with a Bookmarks item, along with other menu items ( File, Edit, View, etc.).
